Mr. Poj Pitakjamnong (MUIC Class of 2016)
Mr. Poj Pitakjamnong, a Film Production alumnus, joined one of the most reputable production companies, The Film Factory, as a film director after his graduation in 2016. He joined the ranks of other well-known film directors in Thailand like Pen-Ek Ratanaruang and Wisit Sasanatieng. After graduation, he received 14 advertising awards, both local and international, for the commercials and branded contents he had directed. These accolades include a shortlist and win from the two most prestigious advertising award festivals in the world: Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity and the One Show Awards. His noteworthy directorial work, a Pedigree advertisement entitled “Mother” for BBDO Bangkok Agency, won Bronze Spike in film category from Spikes Asia 2016 and Bronze Award in film category from ADMAN 2016. On the other hand, his AIS commercial entitled “Speed of Life” for TBWA Thailand Agency was shortlisted in the Design Category at Cannes Lion International Festival of Creativity 2017. Mr. Poj is currently working on a theatrical feature film.
