Asst. Prof. Dr. Teeranee Techasrivichien (MUIC Class of 2007)

Asst. Prof. Dr. Teeranee Techasrivichien graduated from Mahidol University International College with a degree in Biological Science in 2007. She then continued her studies at the Graduate School of Agriculture in Kyoto University, Japan majoring in Agriculture. She achieved her Doctoral degree in Medical Science at the Graduate School of Medicine in the same university.

Currently, Asst. Prof. Dr. Teeranee is a Faculty Member at the School of Public Health, Kyoto University. She has five research papers published in international academic journals and conducted many oral and poster presentations in international academic conferences. She received the Best Poster Award for her research work entitled, “Changes in Sexual Behavior and Attitudes Across Generations and Gender Among a Population-based Probability Sample of an Urbanizing Province in Thailand” at the World Health Summit Regional Meeting in Asia on April 13-14, 2015, in Kyoto, Japan. Moreover, Dr. Teeranee’s study group has also received the Best Oral Presentation Award for her research work entitled “A Cross- sectional Study on Infection Control Practice, Knowledge and Attitude Among Dental Care Professionals in 8 Regions.” at the 13th Congress of the International Federation of Infection Control XIII Argentine Congress on Epidemiology, Infection Control and Patent Safety, ADECI, Buenos Aires, Argentina, October 2-4, 2013.”
